Shalom! We want to thank all of you who have responded to our request to write to the newspapers and government offices concerning the case against Yakov Teitel. Your opinions as supporters of Israel have a great affect on the government and people. (Prov. 17:17; Prov. 27:6) Some of you have expressed that you would like to write, but would like an example as to what would be effective, so we've written a sample letter. If this is helpful, you can either simply copy and paste, or use it as a guideline.

SAMPLE LETTER

To Whom It may Concern,

We, as supporters of Israel who love your nation and pray for you, have been closely following the case of Ami Ortiz and his family for two and a half years, and for the past year that of the alleged perpetrator who has confessed to the attempted murder, Yakov Teitel.

The fact that Teitel is being considered to be possibly not mentally competent to stand trial is very disturbing to us. For 12 years Teitel was active, working out his attacks to the last detail , built complicated bombs and stored a hidden cache of illegal weapons, covered his tracks and outwitted the police and the Shin Bet for more than a decade, learned how to lie on the polygraph test and succeeded when brought in for questioning after murdering two Palestinians, married and had four children, worked and even had a business to support his family, worked for Y'ad L'achim for five years, and now when he is finally arrested, he is possibly deemed unfit to stand trial? It is very suspicious and tragic to us.

We sincerely hope and pray that true justice is carried out in the case of Yakov Teitel. We pray that the judicial system of the State of Israel will rightly deal with the pre-meditated violent acts of this man, and he will be judged in a court of law with an appropriate sentence. This case is on the minds of thousands of Israel supporters around the world who are watching closely to see the results, and to be able to prove to those who desire to see the downfall of your nation that justice and law does prevail in Israel.

Sincerely,

Your Name
