Praise the Lord and thank you Yeshua!! We are back home from the hospital and Ami's toe is fine!! We had an appointment at 7:15AM and we were second in line for the doctor. However, they kept on taking everyone before us, and I felt that the surgeon's were very nervous. Finally we were called, and Ami was directed to the treatment room where the nurse was to take off his bandages. She stopped in the middle as a doctor called her, and Ami just continued to take the bandages off himself. We stood there expectantly and he saw it before anyone else - he said , "it's not white!". And there was his toe- totally normal in color and with a much improved look.
The surgeons breathed a sigh of relief. David, Ami and I were praising the Lord.
GOD IS GOOD
Actually, the day of the operation by the evening we all felt the peace of God. We began to receive email after email from many of you, with promises to not only pray, but to pray with your prayer groups, or to send the message along to others to pray as well. That evening I felt the peace of God descend on our home and I told David, "I think it's going to be alright". He said he felt the same, and Ami was peaceful and in good spirits. Still, it was a battle for all of us to keep our eyes on Yeshua.
Yesterday I received a powerful word from the Lord-
Isaiah 51:1
1 "Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness
and who seek the LORD :
Look to the rock from which you were cut
and to the quarry from which you were hewn;
It was like the Lord was saying - yoohoo - hey Leah- look over here. Remember me? TheOne who has been with you through all of this?
Thank you for praying. You don't know what a comfort and strength it has been for us to have you respond the way you did, and to pray through with us over yet another hurdle in this race.
