This is a very important newsletter written by Arni and Yonit Klien. It is self-explanatory, and is about a court case which toook place in Beersheva on June 10, 2009. David and I had the privilege of praying in another part of town, connected to the congregation that was represented in this case. Please pray for the below - it is of utmost importance for the Body of Messiah in Israel.

We are one in Him,

We've had an interesting week, which included 35 visitors from Germany who were a blessing to minister to. We never get tired of telling the story of the bomb blast and what the God of Israel and Yeshua the Son, as well as the Holy Spirit have done in our lives, turning tragedy into triumph.

SHALOM to all and happy Shavuot, or feast of Weeks. This Biblical feast is the fourth and last of the Spring feasts. On the 4th day of the Passover week, which is the Feast of First Fruits -the day that Yeshua rose from the grave, the counting of the omer begins - which is the counting of 50 days until the harvest festival of Shavuot is celebrated. The holiday corresponds to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, where in the English Bible the feast is called by it's Greek name, Pentecost… Read more

We've had a very busy and eventful 9 days since we last wrote you. Ami returned from a weekend youth conference and said it was very good. The subject discussed was witnessing. He enjoyed the fellowship, renewed old friendships and met new believing youth. He was amazed that kids came from all over the country just for a conference that lasted 24 hours.

Ami said that he was sleeping on a top bunk and it was a mistake he shall never repeat - the bed was too small, and he kept on waking up with his arms… Read more

Yesterday we went to have the bandage removed from Ami's ear - it was a painless procedure which took place with him lying down, having the bandage removed, the surface of the ear drum cleaned up, and drops put in. The surgeon was very pleased with the healing that he saw, and he said that the new ear drum was in place, covering the hole. When Ami sat up - I wish we had taken a picture of his face - he was hearing! Every sound was heightened for those first few moments and he was almost flinching, but… Read more

Happy Mother's Day to those of you who celebrate it today!

I pray as you read this that the Shalom of God is filling your hearts.

NEW FREEDOM

Ami is enjoying his new freedom from the pressure suit.  I hardly see him at home!  He's always out with friends, bringing friends over to eat, going to every basketball, volleyball, whatever game that's going on in Ariel, and just enjoying himself.  However, he really can't hardly hear anything with the bandage stuffed down his right ear, and the inability to… Read more

I'm sending along two items which might of interest. The first is the transcript to the CBN 700 Club's update on Ami, which has more of our interview than what is seen on the video, and the second is a very interesting article from the Jerusalem Post's Friday edition. It is a good indicator of what the more "tolerant" segment of society thinks about Messianic Jews. It also mentions Ami.

Psalm 89:5-7

5 And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD;
Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.
6 For who in the heavens can be compared to the LORD?
Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD?
7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints,
And to be held in reverence by all those around Him.

We are wrapping up our week with the Brooklyn Tabernacle team that came to minister here in the land.  They came with a medical team, and a Teens and children's ministry team, 22 in all.  They held 3 days of medical clinics in Jericho in the Palestinian Authority area, which was hosted by a ministry there, and they've helped us to minister in Ariel, which included a fantastic all day teens/children's program which has become a yearly event.  The program was creative and spiritually enriching for the kids… Read more

Ami came out of the ear operation well, and was released from the hospital this morning.

THE OPERATION

We arrived at the hospital at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, were the first ones in line to get checked in, but Ami was the last one to be operated on- finally at 11:30 AM.  All that time he was forbidden to eat or drink, and so it was a little hard. The surgery took two hours - longer than expected.  Ami was awake to semi-awake during the whole thing, as he was given something to calm him down, which made him… Read more
